Description
The MS309 is a simple plug-in reader for the glovebox. It draws power from the vehicle’s diagnostic port, so there are no batteries to charge, and it gives a quick answer to why the check engine light came on.
- Reads and clears generic and manufacturer-specific engine trouble codes, including pending codes
- Shows the code definition on screen, so there is no need to look it up online
- Turns off the check engine light and resets the emission monitors
- Checks I/M readiness status before a smog or emissions test
- Displays freeze frame data and vehicle info such as VIN and calibration IDs
- Supports all OBD2 protocols on 1996 and newer US, European and Asian cars and light trucks
